PDM Pharma Buds on 17th November 2014 organized a group discussion on “Sikshit Bharat Saksham Bharat”- Quality education for all as per recommended by All India Council for Technical Education. Twelve students from PDM College of pharmacy representing B. Pharm and M. Pharm participated in the event. The group discussion focused in improving the quality of Indian education and loopholes in Indian education policy.
Students presented various problems and mis-happenings in education sectors and put forward their ideas in making education accessible for all. The most prominent of ideas came out to be “Each one Teach One” where each of Indian citizen could take responsibility of educating at least one illiterate kids. This will eventually raise literacy rate of India.
This event happens to be the inauguration of National Pharmacy Week which is celebrated weeklong to aware people about pharmacy profession and invaluable role played by Pharmacists.
