PDM College of Pharmacy is all set to organize a one day national seminar sponsored by Association Of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) on the topic:
"New-Fangled Nano Drug Delivery: Future Fueling For Pharmacy to Treat/Fight Disease"
About the Program cum Seminar
Novel drug delivery is, of gigantic significant for both improvements in health care and the future of organizations engaged in drug discovery research and development. Drug delivery using nano-scale molecular assemblies has the potential for controlling the temporal and spatial distribution of various drugs in disease sites, such as tumors, and thus providing a safer and more effective therapeutic option for human diseases. As a result of recent improvement in drug delivery technologies: the nano field has seen a huge increase in funding from private enterprises & government, and academic researchers with-in the field have formed many partnerships. For clinical translation of this emerging technology, the development of drug carriers with a well-defined structure and characteristics is crucial. These nano assemblies are expected to provide useful pharmaceutical tools that allow for understanding, prevention, detection, and elimination of various human diseases. The findings presented here may assist in the design of nano-scale delivery and therapeutic systems, and provide valuable insights into nano-toxicity.
OBJECTIVES
- To spotlight on basic and advanced methodologies of nano-scale research
- To develop awareness about nano-scale research commercialization process and its benefits
- To motivate the academicians for newfangled nano research that can be commercialized.
PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY
Faculty of Pharmacy/Industry Person, Pharm. D/Ph.D. Scholar & B/M. Pharmacy from AICTE,
PCI and University approved institute.
The total number of participants is restricted to 200 only (first come first serve basis).
CALL FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
The College has great pleasure in inviting the fellow pharmacists to submit findings of original scientific work in Pharmaceutical Sciences for poster presentation during the seminar. The
poster must include the following:
- Abstract
One page abstract not more than 250 words which includes Title, Author/ presenter name(s), Institution name & Address along with the abstract of the work to be presented.
- Summary
A two page work including Title, Introduction, Objective, Experimental method, Result & Discussion, Conclusion &Future Prospective
Poster size=1.20 m length & 1.0 m width
