B.pharma third year students interacted with their alumni

Pharma Buds is building a network and getting in touch with college alumni. As a part of its program “Interaction with alumni” Pharma Buds on 21st February organized interaction of third year students with one of their alumni, Mr. Ashish Gulia. The motive behind organizing such interactions is to let graduate students know about hurdles on professional path from alumni’s experience and challenges they faced.
Ashish Gulia was bachelor pass out of PDM in 2008. After completion of his MBA he joined a private company as a member of Product Management Team (PMT) then he dropped this job to join a government job as Manager at Food Corporation India, Mumbai in 2012. In a 45 minutes session he highlighted that there are unlimited opportunities for a graduate in pharmaceutical world. He advised students to prepare themselves to stand tall and build communication skills along with academics. He discussed various opportunities a student can opt after his graduation along with possibilities and drawbacks of each fields. His suggestion for students wishing to join government job was to start with various government test preparation, building IQ and staying alert on current affairs.
He did not hesitated to share his contact details and assured that he will help students in building career in every possible ways. He suggested getting in touch with other alumni and asking for help so that student could be beneficial.
Pharma Buds is getting in touch with other alumni and trying to fix more sessions with them. Prior to this Pharma Buds has already organized one interaction with Miss Parul Lal on 7th Feb. She is currently working as Product Manager for a Delhi based pharmaceutical company.
