PDM Pharma Buds is a club at PDM College of Pharmacy, Bahadurgarh, India. It was founded in 2013 and is run by students for students. This club is aimed to develop communication and leadership skills of students in college with their own participation. The objective of club is “To provide pharmacy Students an opportunity for development of leadership and communication skills".
Pharma Buds runs its programs every Saturday in college’s seminar hall where students present their assignment in front of other members. They are given constructive feedbacks so that they can perform more effectively every week. Students willing to showcase their talents are also allowed to perform during program.
Besides building leadership, Pharma Buds also aims to provide an exposure to pharmacy world by organizing pharmacy related seminars, quizzes, alumni meets and discussions. It also highly appreciates, promote and provide platform to those students who are gifted with natural talents like singing, sports and art. It is also an great opportunity for students to interact with their seniors or juniors and know each other so that they could find more people to say ‘hi’ and smile in college and help each other. We believe the more students get exposed and learn during their graduation, more would they learn which will eventually help them create better future.
We focus on 'learning by doing" concept where every student is assigned with specific tasks which they should complete in given amount of time. The tasks allocated are purely dedicated in building students’ confidence so that they can communicate fruitfully and are prepared to lead any projects, team or even organizations.
